09/25/2018 Managing Director of Human Resources, Hotel Holiday Inn Almaty Abdrakhmanova S.S. held a training seminar with students of the specialty "Organization of hotel services". Saltanat Saparovna drew the attention of students to such questions as:
- sanitary and hygienic requirements for the maintenance of hotel premises;
- the value of the location of the hotel;
- marketing in the hotel industry;
- the concept of "service" and features of hotel services;
- modern hotel management systems;
- booking, booking methods;
- The organization of customer service during their stay at the hotel;
- preparation and procedure for departure from the hotel;
- the procedure and types of calculation of payment for the hotel services provided;
- refund for unused services;
- room stock service, basic functions, types of housekeeping;
- system of interaction between hotel services.
The seminar was a breeze, because Saltanat Saparovna is a practitioner and any question is disclosed intelligibly and vitally. Everything was clear, accessible, practical, good materials, good organization of the seminar. The material was interesting. The main thing is that there were many examples from practice, and not one theory, as is often the case. We hope that our students will apply this knowledge in their work. The administration of the college regularly organizes such seminars. Leading, branded hotels in the city, such as Holiday Inn Almaty and The Ritz Carlton Almaty are the base hotels of the college. Pupils of the specialty "Organization of hotel services" regularly practice in these hotels. Holiday Inn Almaty and The Ritz Carlton Almaty have been working closely with the Almaty State College of Service and Technology for many years.
May 31 is the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions. For our country, as for most countries of the former Soviet Union, the years of repression will long remain in the memory of thousands of innocently convicted people.
In 1937-1938 alone, more than 100 thousand people were illegally convicted in Kazakhstan, about 25 thousand of whom were shot. Shots and arrests broke the fate of millions. The children were left without fathers and mothers. Only through the gulag from 1934-1941. More than 6 million people of different nationalities have passed.
In 1997, taking into account the appeal of citizens and public associations of the country and in order to perpetuate the memory of victims of political repression, the President by his decree of April 5, 1997 No. 3443 officially established May 31 as the Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repression. Also, in accordance with the decree, various events dedicated to this day should be held annually in Kazakhstan.
05.28.2018 year in college was held an event dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repression.
The main objective of this event: the education of thinking, with high moral qualities of individuals, the formation of a civil and patriotic orientation. Education respect the historical past of the people.

October 3, 2018 in Almaty State College of Service and Technology held a seminar on the theme: "Sustainable development of the ethnocultural traditions of the peoples of the Eurasian space". The seminar was held by Kanapyanova Raushan Musakhanovna, Project Manager of the Eurasian Contest of High Fashion, National Contest of High Fashion of National Ethno-Erato Costume in Moscow, Ph.D. F., the author of numerous articles, books and monographs, co-author of a number of bills.
The workshop was a breeze. Assignments were like an addictive game, to break away from which, as in childhood, it was impossible.
The mere presence of such a seminar gives rise to an amazing feeling of being initiated into the secret, you will agree, not many people think about what color they want to buy a dress or a jumper next winter, when this coming winter is just on the way, but there are experts who they know for sure ...
For college students and teachers, the seminar became an incentive for a new stage in their professional life.
First of all, I was pleased with the warm, democratic environment, the high level of organization and professionalism of the speaker, I would also like to note the intellectual pleasure that, undoubtedly, all the participants of the seminar experienced.
After the seminar, as after a good, deep book, a very positive feeling arose, confidence in the correctness of the chosen path and the realization that on this path we are not alone but not random people, but intellectuals, professionals in their field, such as Raushan Musakhanovna , open to discussion and always ready to provide all possible assistance.
Every year on October 5 in more than 100 countries, teachers celebrate their holiday, which was established in 1994 as World Teacher's Day. This is a professional holiday for all teachers, educators and educators - a day in which the role and merit of the teacher in the process of quality education at all levels, as well as their invaluable contribution to the development of society, are noted.
On October 1, the Almaty College of Service and Technology hosted a gala concert dedicated to “TEACHER’S DAY”, in which college students took an active part.
The concert program was quite diverse (songs, dances, instrumentation, poems and parodies of pop stars).
The concert was held in the manner of television.
The warm atmosphere reigned in the festively decorated hall, it was sunny with smiles and gusts of joyful applause.
