Republican contest " San munarasy»
From December 24 to December 26, 2018, on the basis of the Almaty State College of Service and Technology, together with the Department of Education of Almaty, the Republican competition "San Munarasy" was held among fashion designers and hairdressers-stylists.
Competition goals:
search for young talented fashion designers, hair stylists, who will create fashionable, creative clothing collections, as well as fashionable, beautiful hairstyles;
development of creative potential and aesthetic level of students;
development of imagination and non-traditional approaches in the field of fashion design, hairstyle design;
exchange of experience, support of creatively working teachers in the fields of "design, construction and modeling of clothing" and "hairdressing".

Modeling of the product by the method of tattooing
Drawing of the basic design and introduction of model features
Tailoring according to the finished pattern

Performing men's classic haircuts
Performing a women's creative haircut
Making a creative men's haircut with Hair tattoo elements
Making a wedding high hairstyle for long hair
Performing wedding salon makeup

On December 24, after the registration of the participants, the grand opening of the competition took place in the assembly hall of the college, where the director of the college, Zharkyn Zhanyazova, introduced the rules, the program of the competition for 3 days and wished success to all participants of the competition.The number of contestants among fashion designers was 48, among hairdressers-stylists-85.

Every day, the contestants surprised the jury and experts with their professional skills. Within three days, using imagination and creativity, using practical skills, hairdressers – stylists created creative hairstyles, and fashion designers – designers created original products.
On December 26, the contest was closed. Guests were invited to the solemn event, among them were leaders from: the akimat of the Bostandyk district, the Department of Education, the city methodological office, and colleges. Experts and the jury, having appreciated the skill and creativity, determined the winners among fashion designers and hairdressers-stylists. All winners and participants were awarded with diplomas and certificates.\
