The development of hairdressers ' skills is a historical process in which each new generation has absorbed the experience of its predecessors, their achievements and tries to create something new, unprecedented, satisfying the tastes and needs of customers. Competition between masters of hairdressing at all times was and is a condition for the development of their skills. Therefore, the holding of competitions of hairdressers has become an open form of competition, the development of professional skills of participants of competitions, as well as a source of new ideas and trends in the development of fashion.
"San Munarasy" is a unique competition among hairdressers and stylists.
The mission of the contest of stylists and makeup artist "San Munarasy" is to use the creative potential and resource of talented stylists and makeup artist to create a modern, fashionable and commercial hairstyle and makeup based on international standards of WorldSkills.
From January 30 to 31, 2020, on the basis of the Almaty State College of Service and Technology, together with the Department of Education of Almaty, the Republican competition "San Munarasy" among hairdressers-stylists was held. The competition was held as part of the celebration of the 68th anniversary of the foundation of the college. 6 colleges from all over the republic took part in our competition. All participants demonstrated their skills, talent and professional abilities. The republican contest was held in two blocks. On the first day of the contest "on block 1", the categories "Women's commercial salon haircut" and "Women's themed catwalk hairstyle"were held.
