From April 25 to May 4, Master of International Class, Champion of Russia and Europe in hairdressing, owner of his own beauty salon “Nikolay Isak”, School of Models and School of Hairdressing, Nikolai Isak held a seminar on the “First level of design” in Almaty State College of Service and Technology and styling hairstyles.

The workshop was held in two stages.

For many years, various seminars and master classes have been regularly held on the basis of the Almaty State College of Service and Technology. Teachers of special disciplines and students taking part in these seminars can develop, gain new knowledge, improve their professional skills and enjoy work. For this purpose, seminars and workshops are held. The administration of the AGKSiT plans to continue to invite famous people in the future to learn directly from the Masters.
On April 26, 2018, the WorldSkills professional skill competition “Reception” started on the basis of the Almaty State College of Service and Technologies, in which Nurym Dinara attended the 3rd year of the specialty “Organization of hotel services” of the Almaty State College of Service and Technologies.
The competition was held in two stages, during which the contestants showed their skills in the hospitality industry.
Competition objectives:
1) Increased student interest in the study of special disciplines;
2) The disclosure of the creative potential of students, the development of initiatives and leadership skills;
3) Identification of the strongest students in this competence;
4) Increasing the prestige of the workers by their profession, improvement of the technology of the educational process, popularization of working specialties.
Nurym Dinara won the 2nd prize and was awarded a silver medal. The participants of the competition were evaluated by experts, who were teachers of special disciplines of educational institutions, masters of industrial training, specialists from production.
The competition was attended by students from different regions of the country.
The victory of the college in the competition is the merit of the teachers of special disciplines.
WorldSkills is an international movement that popularizes working professions and raises standards of professional training throughout the world. Almaty State College of Service and Technology is actively involved in this process.
In the museum named after A. Kasteev an exhibition was held by May 1 to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Kazakhstan. A performance with songs, national dances and traditional treats of the Turkish people unfolded in front of the museum.
